    Forest Green - Post Match

Some superficial changes, and an improvement for fif**** / twenty minutes, but no end product and the core of Beech's team is rotten at heart. In the end we looked a shambles. Beech has had two years in the job and been supported to the hilt by the club - and ultimately we're in the same position in the league as when Pressley was sacked and we're playing far worse "football". Whether it's a results business or an entertainment business is irrelevant while Comedy Chris remains in charge.

Norma - 6 - In fairness made a couple of decent saves early doors before we conceded, his distribution wasn't all bad but still looks inferior to Jensen.

Riley - 5 - Trying to step into midfield and carry the game because our actual midfield was utter crap. This led to him being over stretched defensively. Still probably our best player on the football today.

Armer - 3 - Back to his usual clumsy form this season after looking a lot more comfortable on Tuesday. Someone needs to get him to calm down and use his brain, he does have one (unlike a few others in the side)

Dinzeyi - 4 - Too easily muscled off the ball for the first goal (and he knew it). That's the difference between Premier League reserve football and horrible scrappy tier four. Showed some classy touches and great defensive capability, but needs to add a little Prokas to his game.

Feeney - 5 - Maybe trying a little too hard at times, but in a fight I'd want him on my side. As with Dinzeyi, a run of games will see him improve no end. I loved how gamely he was fighting for the ball in the opposition's box and towards the end some of his movement and awareness further forward put our midfield to shame.

Whelan - 2 - Powderpuff. Started the game quite well in the Chris Billy role but consistently failed to track runners and was about as effective in front of the back four as a chocolate tea pot.

Guy - 0 - Utter garbage. Somehow has a new contract, I'd have given him away to Wrexham for free on the basis of his performances this season.

Mellish - 2 - Not his worst game (some passing to blue shirts) and in comparison to Guy and Dickenson he's a world beater, but after sixty minutes totally anonymous. It's incompetence of the highest degree to persist with Mellish in the "number ten" role when we have Clough on the bench.

Dickenson - -1 - Time and again we had players in excellent positions in the penalty area (Brad Young) but Dickenson and his hexagonal feet failed to find them. Have we ever had a player who loses possession as much as this? He's a reverse Midas on the pitch, everything he touches turns to sh1t.

Toure - 1 - For some reason started the game on the right wing. But as ever, quick feet at times but zero end product.

Young - 6 - A silver lining. Excellent movement, dangerous dribbling, good use of the ball and a constant threat. Had the Forest Green keeper pull off his only save of the afternoon. Starved of service and isolated upfront, he had genuine support on Tuesday but didn't today.

After 10 minutes I thought, hello, this’ll end up 4-4, then it’s it went wrong. It was a microcosm of last season; it all started so well then went to a pile of ****e. Tactically we were inept, and it got worse as the game went on and Beech made changes - for the worse. O hhhad Young as MoM, then he was taken off. What?

We just need to add to those scores… Beech 0 (ut)

I wouldn't dignify the f_cker by giving him a mark.

If he had any self respect he'd walk away.
