My son and his partner are expecting at the end of April.

Yesterday they did one of these new fangled “Gender Reveals” where you pop a tube and pink or blue confetti litters your living room.

I thought it’d be a load of old b o l l o x but in truth it was a lot of fun and a really exciting moment.

Out came the pink confetti! 🥳

Much to mine and my mum’s absolute delight they’ve already chosen the name Nellie, this is so poignant for us because it was my nan’s name and I was incredibly close to her, to have a Nellie in the family again will be such a delight.

Nan was such a sweet and gentle person, I just hope the little one has a decent portion of her genes.

I love grandkids, they are such a delight.
