    Odds to finish btm

County 5/4 slight favs, Dee 11/8, Livvy big outsiders 8/1

Bookies don't give us much chance of escaping btm 2.

4pts v well and st j draw at county, draw at hibs, draw at Livvy, beat the dabs......11 pts.....but there is a route to a helluva lot less and above points is a fairly optimistic view.

Whilst winning 2 on the spin in the top league isn't as rare as a guid looking dab it's still a lot less common than most think so cant really see us going on an extended winning run of 2 or 3 games or so.

it's important we don't lose to Livvy and county, hopefully a signing or two in January and Byrne back..... but those fixtures up to the break are pretty damn crucial.

The problem with January signings comes down to what league position we are in.
If we are sitting bottom of the league in January, then it's difficult to attract decent players who can make a difference.
We need to get 3 points against Motherwell and hope players like Griffiths are back to full fitness.

Ross County have previously managed to sign players in the January transfer window despite being bottom of the Premier League to propel them up the league to safety.
It helps when they have a chairman who is prepared to loan money to sign players and then write off the outstanding loans at the end of each season.

    Really good performance today.
    5-0 wouldn’t have flattered us.
What a cynical filthy shower Motherwell were.

    Great win.

    Hopefully Ashcroft not too serious.

Real boost 1pt v Perth good but big prize of going above them with 3.
