I know, and in the same statement they say they’ve entered into discussions with Purepay over the repayment of the loan. Well fucked then. And can anyone think of a single use for our Trust?

    Trust statement:

How can a single organisation that claims to be the “official supporters’ group” also put themselves in a position where they keep fans “in the dark”. The two are mutually exclusive, surely?

Another thought. The Purepay debt will take at least 5 years to pay off, and that’s assuming that we’re still in the EFL. During that time there will be no spare cash, and the debt would be a millstone that would put off other potential owners investors. Did I mention we’re fucked?

The Holdings statement gives the impression that the club took the initiative to start talks on repayment terms of the debt to Purepay.

It is much more likely that PD said that he (Purepay) is totally out and the only thing left to do is to begin repayment of the £2.37 million debt as soon as possible, or else.

BBCRC's reaction to this will be interesting. I do not expect competence from the station, especially since the James Phillips situation occurred. There will be fear about speculation or even about giving opinions or even about telling the truth.

CUOSC welcome the news that United are now officially looking for new investment

    - maybe they are going to put an advert in the EN&S.
