I would have been in Mevagissey now for Xmas but had to change my plans. You could say avoid in summer about much of Cornwall to be fair mate.

Mousehole is a nightmare as is Padstow, St Ives and the list goes on. Pre lockdown we always went to stay twice a year at the hotel part of Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant but wouldn’t dream of going in summer. Tended to be April then October as it’s just unbearable in a lot of those places in summer with one road in and out.

Port Isaac and Port Gaverne are gems.

”The Roller Coaster walk” between Port Isaac and Port Quin.

As mentioned earlier, Lizard, Kynan’s Cove, Padstow and Rock.

    Tintagel, Boscastle.

And as a contrast, a walk on Bodmin Moor. 😎

Absolutely Dan’. We managed to get a week in Cornwall (plus 3 days in London) early November though. 😊

Mevagissey for me lacked the charm of the other areas already named but to each their own
