Successive British governments of all colours over donkey's years have refused to pay the Iranians for the unfulfilled tank order that goes back to the days of the Shah - and with good reason.
Iran are the main state sponsors of fundamentalist terrorism all over the world including Al Quaeda as was, Hezbollah and your very own Hamas - so the likes of Cameron and Blair refused to be seen as the government that caved into Iran's demands and fund terrorism.

Fast forward to this populist shower and they cough up the £400 million to the terrorists without a second thought just to get a week of good press - even though thousands of people could lose their lives as a result of the weaponry the fundamentalists could buy with the money.

Sure I feel sorry for the 2 or 3 Brits who were pawns in the game but sometimes you have to sacrifice pawns to win.

What is your take on the Tories submitting to terrorist demands and funding extremists with taxpayer's money?

My take is our mainly corrupt Cabinet of Conservative and Unionist Cretins led by the blonde-haired, grinning, smirking, clueless clown will have deducted their15% commission at source.

Maybe they included a clause that Al Quaeda has to spend the money on British weaponry

Not at all sure about that lusty, they have only just discovered the former Chelsea chairman was in fact one of Putin's inner circle and was using Londongrad to buy up Knightsbridge and three luxury yachts.
