    Here's hoping.. I still have hopes for Botman.. but would love to see us bring in a marquee signing on transfer deadline day.. however hope we have most signings in early doors

    Not sure about Tarkowski, is he better than Fernandez?

    Nope but the two of them together would be good because he's miles better than Lascelles.

    (plus, there's a rabbit off with Fernandez...not sure what, though)

    I'm not too impressed with what I have seen of Tarkowski, but Ive only seen a few games.

    Botman I have not seen, but the description of him sounds exactly what we need; big strong defender with good pace and almost never makes mistakes.

    We should really look to Barcelona. They MUST sell players, and with players like Depay not beeing in Xavis plans, it should be possible to sign a player or two from them.

    Tbh, we are one of the few clubs that can afford the salery of these players, and many of them wants to prove themselft ahead of the world cup.

    As for Trippier, Simeone said today that its now all down to the player to decide.

    Reports today saying Chelski are sniffing around him as backup for Chilwell and James who are now long term injured
