Its actually unbelievable that nobody has ever sorted this out, as soon as any significant news comes out of Brunton Park it crashes, god help them if we ever have a reasonably successful season and they find another couple of hundred posters.

I believe they now consider themselves reluctant custodians of the cumbrians.net forum.

Their efforts are now being concentrated on making podcasts and raising the profile of Unita Fortior.

Sadly it doesn't exactly inspire much confidence in their ability to organise anything if they manage to infiltrate CUOSC.

Apologies for the downtime today, the number of folks trying to access was simply off the scale, never seen before levels!

As a result, we’re looking at some more configuring of the servers etc, all far too technical for ourselves we’ll add!

Will likely cost us a few pennies more but we’re looking to get the site much more steady for the peaks and troughs.

We’ll try to keep you in the loop, and there may be the odd short period we go offline for testing etc, we’ll try to notify prior obviously.

Hi folks,

We’re thinking of trialling the Forum where you must Login to view it. The idea being it would lessen ‘Guests’.

Looking for thoughts from you lot before we did though - Do you Login before viewing? Browse then Login to Post? Simply browse?

Look forward to opinions on this!

Great thinking here by the Unita Fortior boys.

Reduce the number of people viewing and thereby solve the problem.

Why not just restrict access to CUOSC members.

Ultimate objective would then be achieved.

Exclusive Trust site without needing to keep the masses in the loop.

I agree, a totally stupid idea. There are a few Roysten Vasey sites out there but they don’t do well.
