    Monumental effort

I've been studying the table and have come to the decision it's going to have to be a monumental effort needed to get us out of this predicament..Realistically i can't see Everton and Newcastle going down now after the transfer window. I reckon a minimum of 37 points is needed to give ourselves a chance of escaping. Its possible but a hard ask and extremely unlikely..anymore than three points from our next three home matches would be a bonus.

We have to start winning games, there simply is no other answer.

Newcastle had a really poor transfer window. I'm sure Dan Burn is a nice lad but he's no improvement on what they have. Targett - a guy destined for Villa reserves who is worse than the mediocre Digne. Chris Wood - a non scoring forward who will have to play no matter what (No manager will drop a player he just paid 25 million for no matter how porr they are - remember Gary Birtles!). The Brazilian lad might be OK, but they need someone who can create in midifeld. Shelvey spent half the game against Leeds sitting deeper than Lascalles. Newcastle are a mess, and are in real trouble - luckily for us.

A few good win bonuses for the Players plus an added lump sum if we stay up should be enough to ensure maximum effort in our plight for Premiership Football next Season.

Sorry Sammy, that doesn't wash with me.You can offer them the earth, but if they are not good enough it doesn't matter.

The bulk of them have been good enough for the last 4 seasons alfie, and now we have Collins, Roberts, Cornet and Weghorst.

If we get out of this it will be on a par with what Leicester did, so who knows, champions next season.
