I forget he is on the pitch genuinely seems Gudmonsson can go at least 20mins without touching the ball, I think he nips off for a pie.
Every week he’s double marked , he gets no support when he ventures to go forward , he hasn’t progressed because we constantly boot the ball into ( what was woods head ) with his back to goal , consequently couldn’t trap a bag of sand and hold the ball in the final third - mind you if he did we couldn’t get the midfield to him to support.
JBG - my sentiments exactly he plays 15 mins maximum in any game then hides for the rest - but going at people as a wide man just doesn’t happen ever , always narrows play as a wide man and wants to pick the ball up right whilst he’s holding our full backs hand at the half way line.

I won’t judge Mcneil yet - I take your point about sulking a bit and he does have a habit of letting his man go BUT I would say all the ways to de motivate a player of his quality are on show for all to see in a team that’s lacking quality and confidence and plays one out football all the time.

Give me Harrison from Leeds any day of the week and twice on Sunday over McNeil.

Different player BT one is all about touch creativity the other is pace and hard working

Harrison would give his right arm for Mcneil s left foot And brain.

The Tin Man at his best could have bought and sold the pair of them. Proper winger that lad, he could even con referees.

I loved McMinn. I think I was at Blackpool and he went down on the touchline not far from us. He opened his eyes and saw us watching him then winked before carrying on feigning injury. You're right sinkov, he was master of the dropped shoulder.

Wembley, 1994. I actually felt sorry for the Stockport County players - talk about being duped!

I was there too so could have been but felt I was closer to the touchline than at Wembley.
