It might rescue some dignity for the man, fingers crossed some movement will occur now.

The move is appreciated but, even if successful, it won't wipe the slate clean.

No reason why Boro or WW need to go along, nowt in it for them except the expense of legal representation! Why take the risk of losing when, as it stands, they have the EFL's kangaroo court where they have everything going for them.
The EFL will probably say that as he no longer owns the Club MM has no standing so why meet him??

The EFL has already invited him to a meeting with all parties, I suspect they weren't expecting him to call their bluff! I think they'll recommend Boro & Wycombe take up the offer, otherwise they risk exposing themselves further.... Unless of course they are further coerced by Boro / Wycombe to stand firm.

No response from the EFL yet. Has Gibson not told them what their stance is yet?

They've had to wait for him to stop celebrating their Manure win and, of course, there's been the Cup Draw and now he's got to plan for that! He'll let the EFL know what to say sometime next week or the week after!

Question on this for the likes of GP, Andy, Swale and others who are rather more au fait with this sort of thing.....

Over the weekend I was corrected by a chap when I said good move, force M/WW hand. His response was that it's not legally possible for MM to become a "proxy" for this. Has MM offered something that can't happen?
