No way would I put towards a collection for this loutish behaviour. Rumours are circulating he's 18+ all I can say to that is if he's jailed (he should be) let's see how tough he is then. Such a cheap shot to launch an assault on a totally innocent person.

Bet he wants his Mummy on the first night if he's sent down.

Both probably on social, or bank of mam & dad.
Wonder if the Accrington Stanley player will bring charges for assault against the idiot fan.

He should do, let the idiots know it will be dealt with seriously. Hopefully it may make others think twice before they commit an offence.

He/they were the offenders therefore should be fined and made to pay

Thinking that they will get a punishment beyond “ naughty boy, don’t do that again” is very optimistic

Unfortunately I think you're right, but RUFC please, as far as you can control it, ensure they're banned for life

Other than Saturday’s incident has the club found the “ fans” they were looking for following incidents at other games?

Or is it a case of make some initial noises then let the dust settle?

Point taken but with incidents at away games they're reliant on the home clubs CCTV and security.
With this incident then RUFC hold all the cards and should deal punishment accordingly, plus if age permits name and shame

The guy who threw the chewing gum at Crewe was handed over to Stovicmiller who on discovering he was born outside the Borough of Rotherham summarily executed him with a single bullet and returned the body to Mexborough
