I wont argue with any of those, there was room for improvement all round. But really, we need to be beating opposition like this to have any chance of getting out of the mire. But we can’t, can we? I’m sure that any supporter that knows his way around our squad could put out a better starting eleven that Millen. And whatever he says to them they hardly perform with fire or confidence. I’ll give him the Swindon game before I’d suggest that he returns to London and doesn’t return. Swindon are LLLDD in the last 5 so they won’t have much confidence themselves. Going with my son and grandson who will be at his first home game so I don’t want him going home upset.

Unless you change your plans I'll be reporting you to the NSPCC.

It’s the school of hard knocks. I remember taking my lad to Wycombe Wanderers a few times when he was 4 or 5 and they were non-league (we lived nearby) and how he cried when the ball came out and we had to give it back. Those were the days.

New slant on Mellish from the commentary team today.

Instead of the usual "it fell on his wrong foot" they were so desperate for something positive to say that they had to resort to "he's a nice lad".

To be fair though, I can understand the frustration which led to him getting booked for kicking the corner flag.

After all the corner flag had shown better movement and more skill in the first 65 minutes than Mellish has shown all season.
