Thread: Looking forward to Sunday......UTV

An intriguing encounter this, both clubs have done well in the January window - our squad is the best it's been in many a year but the defence that kept 15 clean sheets last season have struggled this time round, we've lost more games than most whereas you've drawn loads.

We never beat Bournemouth with Howe in charge and we were poor in large parts vs Leeds which will no doubt help his gameplan. We have been effective away from home so a tough one to call. I don't think you'll go down and FWIW I know there's been some needle between our clubs but with the massive support & history we both have it has been far too long without silverware. It will be great to see a threat to the dominance of the Sky6.

    Aye, I'd go with that.

The banners at the game we went down were baffling to us and caused a lot of bad feeling but, personally, it's water under the bridge. Would be great for a few clubs to get in amongst them-that super league 6 are a bunch of arrogant cunts who think they own the league so anything that disrupts their little cabal id ok ny me.

Newcastle will obviously spend big in the summer, we will splurge another 100 mill im sure hopefully on a defender and Midfielder. The so called big 6 bar City, will be ****ting themselves. Would be great to see a new top 5 with Villa, Newcastle, Liecester,Wolves and West Ham. I think utd's days are numbered. You guys just got to stay up which, in my humble opinion, you will. UTV

Dave, I totally agree with you about the new big five. They are mostly clubs with ambitious owners spending sensibly and it would be great to see the likes of Manure, Arseanal and Spuds put where they belong, downstream, rather than them and their supporters believing they have the divine right to be at the top.

Thanks Dave. Very magnanimous of you, I reckon Villa are definately on the right track and wish you guys the best.this season. I have a couple of Villa mates and are generally decent lads 👍

I got a shock when I saw your team sheet. Seriously strong side on paper and exciting times ahead for you when Gerrard gets his hooks into them.
