And who deserves it more than they do.

I think we can now firmly replace the phrase for a club imploding from ‘doing a Leeds or Portsmouth’ to ‘doing a Sunderland’.

The mismanagement at the club makes Mike Ashley look like Erlon Musk.

Seems like they’ll be appointing their new manager soon. He’s called Alex Neill (I think!!)

Personally, I'd love it if they got a Mike Ashley type owner. Someone who could take them to the Premier League but only ever be interested in just narrowlingly avoiding relegation. With our new owners actually being ambitious, we would smash them at every derby game!

    Steady on, Andy! 😁

They would have their boots on our necks if the situation was reversed. All the six in a row sh!te, the Adam Johnson thing, the aeroplane celebrations after the plane crash (which they know happened-whether the pae.do meant his or not is a moot point; personally I'm in no doubt that he did)...all leads me to have absolutely zero sympathy for the club or a sizeable section of their support.

I want to see them in the Conference League, nobody should have any sympathy for the unwashed.

The way Mike Williamson is going with Gateshead we could be cheering them on to doing the double over the Muckem.

    Have to 2nd this.

When they've done 4 seasons in conference then maybe i'll feel able to say "they should be coming up".
