Just heard some politician say they hope the replacement for Dick is a feminist.......there's a joke there but I can't think of one.

When are politicians gonna realise this bull**** is half the problem.......instead of wanting the next met leader to have a certain political or ideological view or be a rainbow flag waving black transgender who is disabled and arrived here in a dingy....what about them just being good at their job first and foremost.

Politicians are pandering to all the different minority groups instead of pandering to everyone.

Don't think they should pander to anyone. I think most folk would be happier if they went back to solving real crimes, lifting and banging up real criminals and treating things like burglary properly. In my world someone breaking into your home and stealing your hard earned goods and chattels deserves more of their time than chasing up half arsed hate crimes apart from rhe most blatant serious forms of racism etc. In recent years I reckon the polis have no idea who the real victims of crime are and the new met chief and other chief constables throughout the land would do well to reset and figure out who the real criminals are!

Several years ago I went to the Police Scotland HQ in Bell Street to report a series of fraudulent standing orders which had been debited to my father’s current account.
The WPC refused to take details of the crime because my father had received a full refund from his bank which was RBS.
I told the WPC that this was ridiculous as her failure to take the details of this crime meant that the criminals got away with it.
I further added that this was a novel way for the SNP controlled Scottish Government to keep their published crime figures down. Do not investigate them in the first place.
