Think the Station Hotel is ok. Depends how much you want to spend, really. There's the usual range of Holiday Inns and Premier Inns in the City Centre but don't discount Jesmond as it's only a short walk into Town and has loads of bars, pubs and restaurants. When you coming, Viking?

Copthorne Hotel is on the bank of the Tyne behind Central Station.
Agree that Osborne Rd is a good bet - easy for the meto with shops and restaurants handy if you can’t be bothered to go into town.

I have booked the fenwick window, with a proper chair and everything, so you all can witness and enjoy it.

Thanks, I'll look into that. I'm dropping in for the Leicester game in April.
