Name a better Premier League bargain than Trippier

    £12 million rising to £14?

We should just pay the add-ons now before they realise they've been had.

Financially, Hi Fans for £1.8 mil (I think?) and getting £30 million for him was ludicrously good business and, in terms of longevity and service, I think the scouse mackems paid around 600,000 grand for Coleman.

Obviously, we got our money's worth out of Shearer but we paid a world-record fee for him at the time so you couldn't class that as a bargain, imo. Actually, on that note, Arsenal paid £3.5 million for Vieira in the same Summer and that didn't work out too badly for them.

But, at today's prices? What was it Man U paid for Sancho-just over £70 mil?

Anyone got a better example than our daylight robbery?

Vincent Kompany for £7 million was good value. Would of been even better if he didn't have so many injury problems later on

Demba Ba came on a free, was a good signing for us.

As far as bargains go, Azpilicueta came to Chelsea from Marseille for around £6.5 - he's now won every single existing club tournament with them. Crazy.

Thierry Henry was £11m I think.
