Anyone on here a 'union man'? Look away Brin because it's US sports again. Major League Baseball are currently in a work stoppage as they try to negotiate a new collective bargaining agreement and if they don't resolve it by the weekend the season will be delayed and curtailed. What does that mean? If you are a player on the minimum salary you'll be losing $4K per day (wages are set on a 182 day season) and if you are one of the 'star' players you'll be losing around $200K per day (some more than that).

How would you feel as a union man trying to negotiate on that? The union reps are players on between 20K and 232K per day. Do you feel sorry for someone trying to survive on these wages?
