Our wage bill in League 1 is circa £3.5m we will just be in the top 10 in terms of wage bills.
Where do you get these figures from HPRM they seem a bit low for L1

It may look low at £100k/wk - you could probably get ONE half decent premier league player for that!!!!

However, it equates to £4/wk as an average for a 25 man squad.
Some of our players will be on half that, even in the Championship.
It also helps to explain why we struggle to sign the better calibre players.

Pr I'm looking at books for 2019

    Total turnover 13.9 million
Wages and no 7.3 million so I'm guessing this was in the championship
    2018 figures are
    9.9 million
    6.3 million on wages

Not sure what this covers though

Champ season the figures are from the company accounts; someone has posted the link. The figures for this season are the ffp returns for the efl and that is our max figure we are allowed for this season. Players' contracts include in most cases a relegation clause with a 25% reduction, so it's not too difficult to have a rough guess of where we are.
The Barnsley figures were from their recently published accounts; the Yorkshire Post did cover them earlier this week.

The Barnsley numbers probably included a bonus for the players getting to the play offs so that may explain their increase.
It does show, however, the difference in funding levels. When I last looked, Barnsley were in the bottom six of wage bills in the Champ, and ours is over half of their wage bill.
