Looks like we are going to plan to do some of that walk in northern Spain for about a week come June all going well .
One good thing my wife speaks Spanish very well she has a Spanish v friend Mercedes which will help us when we get lost .😁.
Sue has done the West highland way which she loved so this will be another chapter in our life being in our 60s now we don't have much time left its now or never .

Any fellow posters done any walks worth doing .?

My father in law has done the Camino twice & loved it. Me & the missus plan to do it next year.

We’re doing the West Highland Way in April

Yep, the whole thing. The first time he did it, the cathedral was shut at the end That’s why he went back. He’s quite religious so he probably got more out of it than me & the missus will. We’re just going for the stroll

I’m talking total shyte. Discussing it with her last night. He did it in two separate sections, 2 weeks each time.

I rarely listen to him talking, as it’s usually Celtic related & I switch off

    Aye lol .

    Still a superb achievement.
When we were on northern Spain we found that quite of number of walkers who went on their own had some life battles .
    Found that quite interesting .

There's a good film called the Way and a very good film it is.👍

Fit like Buc? My wife and I are doing the walk from Porto to Santiago in September. About 160 km in 10 days. Really looking forward to it. Coming home for a wedding in June, hope we can catch up.
