It is a pity that we were drawn at home against Rangers. If we had been drawn to play them at Ibrox we would have got a good pay day out of if.

There used be a half time challenge amongst various Dundee supporters clubs where members attempted to score goals against a youth keeper.
And you would consider that pre match and half time entertainment?

This is the thing, what one person considers entertainment another might just find annoying. I don't want to go to the football to see a pipe band march around the track, that's not what I would call entertainment. However watching a rotund, middle aged man in a pair of Loakes go his length as he tries to round a youthful young keeper at least raises a titter - but is it entertainment?

I think things like club mascots and have wee kids running about showing their football skills is a great experience for them. We need to find ways for families to get involved. I am sure I will not be alone in being lifted over the turnstiles when I was 5 8years old by my grandmother and grandfather. Watched the football but didn't really understand it, probably things haven't changed much, still don't know what is going on. The main thing was it was noisy and exciting. Something that you could get excited about and you knew you were part of a great organisation.

I think we have lost a lot of enthusiasm and trying to bring youngsters in about the club seems a great way to start. I wonder if extended families might be worth considering too. Maybe Uncles bringing along nephews and nieces etc.

The kids under 12 years old nowadays have a great deal namely a season ticket for £1 if it is purchased at the same time as an adult is purchasing a season ticket.
My father first took me to Dens Park when I was six years old and I used to go underneath the turnstile. My friends and I used to call it getting a ‘sneakie in’.

My wife’s GP told her to use her age to her advantage.
If a person qualifies to purchase an OAP ticket then they should do so irrespective of what other people think.

I don’t think we need pre match, and half time entertainment. But if you can think of anything original, please post it, and I might be persuaded.
