He's very moody and I've never been quite sure about his commitment to the fans, although he did leave it all on the pitch against Norwich. I don't expect him to stay whether we stay up or not and we'll make a handsome profit on the £17m we spent on him, so I'm ok with that.

Whatever deal is struck, he needs to be 100 percent committed for the remaining games.
Then he can fk off wherever he wants.

Yeah but Barca might tell him not to get hurt

And just how do you make that happen, when he (or his agent) have already been attempting to lower whatever release clause figure may have been agreed upon? No loyalty in football, and even less at PL level (or the equivalent in Europe).

Perhaps via the art of negotiation and man management which im sure people are being paid to do!

Just stick a arm around him everyday, tell him he's brilliant and a credit to the club....
Tell him he will be a world beater at barca, get best price, and then wave good bye....
Just use his talent for a few more games.

You're referring presumably to our DoF, the man who "negotiated" the deal that has us on the hook for around £22m for that gem, JKA. Or improved contracts for Roberts AND Costa? Or..........etc etc.

And so the cycle goes on - are you on commission for how many time you mention Orta and JKA in the same post? 😆

We could point out his better transactions but there seems little point.
