    Final Standings Calculated . . .

I've had a quiet day so decided to try and predict what the top 7 would look like at the end of the season.

it wasn't an easy process, I've used metrics from last 6 form, expected goals and created an opposition difficulty ranking as well as a weighting for home or away fixture.

After doing that I ran everything through a piosson calculation to end up with expected points and expected goal difference.

Safe to say that other than the top two positions 3-7 will be very closely contested!

Interesting stuff OG. Play-offs starting with Notts v Grimsby, C'Field v Halifax shows how strong the league is...
Halifax only finishing on 80 is interesting, that'd do us very nicely, but I fancy them to finish above C'Field and I fancy us to finish above Ardley Moors...
He's annoying. Why did he have to screw up at Notts to learn lessons, where is their dodgy CB or 39 year who plays very game?

Yeah there were a few odd results but then we’ve seen that happen in this league. People need to remember it’s just maths and not subjective opinion.

    Ardley though …

Piosson excellent, Mr OG. Never forget, one Man's meat is another Man's poisson.

Just shows how tight it is - 1 point! Although agree that I see Halifax doing slightly better than this - maybe all of them!?

It’s not worth thinking of the hysteria on here if we lost to Solihull in the final.

I don’t believe in a god, but if that happened I would know they hate us and laugh at us.
