I think this decision was decided, based on on how poor our team was at Norwich. Where lets face it we had the opportunity to give ourselves a real fighting chance. The style and rigid tactics we play are not the answer. Given the removal of all the backroom staff as well then they must be in advanced talks with a new management team before they have done this? It's very sad and the guy is a legend, nothing changes what he has done for us, but I get the feeling the players have lost belief as they is no consistency this year to get us out of this mess. I think this is their last throw of the dice.

I am shocked by the timing they must have something in mind, if a new manager is given funds then it stinks or maybe Sean was told no funds next season and he walked, although given the length of his contract I doubt he would quit whoever takes over has a monumental task ahead.

Having advocated a change previously I am shocked by it happening at this stage of the season.

We are more than struggling and need to lift our game starting on Sunday.

Looking at the bookmakers list of potential candidate there does appear to be too many of them having failed.

As for the coaching staff I would like to see an offer being made to Stephen Defour.
