    Hearts (H)

Absolute must win. If we have any ambitions of finishing fourth and ensuring the best euro qualifying position at the end of the season we simply MUST win this (and the following week v Well for that matter). We really have a great chance here - Hearts may well have a cup semi hangover and they have major injury issues what with Kingsley, Halliday, Halkett, Soutter all almost certainly out. Add in to this that with a Cup Final to look forward to, RN may elect to ‘rest and rotate’ what with their league season effectively over. 4th will also ensure later qualifying matches which would mean that for the first time in an eternity we would have time for a proper close/pre-season to allow players a proper break, plenty time to prepare for the following season on return, maybe some ‘proper’ pre season friendlies and of course, none of this League Cup ‘games in the middle of July’ farce.

We still don’t know what the sketch is with him but we could really do with the Butch back for this, otherwise I’m not sure what other changes TC can make from the Funsters so it’s otherwise likely to remain pretty unchanged. Hopefully a decent backing turns up and we push right on…………………..

Whilst I agree a win would get us into a good position, I don't think it's a must win just now. Even a point would be good so long as we can beat Motherwell the following week. I think the games v Well and County are the ones we must win. If we do then I reckon 4th will be ours. How likely are Kingsley and Halliday to be out, not read anything about how serious their injuries were

Kingsley would be a big miss for them and a definite bonus for us if he's out.
