At Oldham you had an owner who was a business man who interfered with the football side of things and decided who played and who didnt. He made some awful signings and went through managers at an alarming rate. Thats why Scholes walked so soon into his tenure because the owner wanted to pick the side. That is why David Weater fell out with the club, he was fit to play but the owner froze him out and claimed the player was causing issues at the club. Sounds a bit like some owners not too far from here.
