He said the players are tired having to drive a few hours. They certainly wouldn’t be tired with his 3 day weeks and training methods
He's now saying the players live too far away from the training ground. Still won't acknowledge his own incompetence:

So in the World of Bruce he want's professional footballers to live away from their wives, partners and kids for days on end. That’ll be great for their mental well-being and moral. What a moron!
He also said it didn't apply to him and that he wouldn't be relocating from his Cheshire home. His reason was that managers signed contracts but sacked??? What the actual fuck sort of excuse is that?
If you were a player being forced to move but the man making you move didn't think the rules applied to him...bit like our twat of a Prime Minister
Bruce has blamed the fans, his players, the football itself, the weather, and now the players homes being too far away.......he must know he's a sh!te manager but will do anything for the £££££
He’s been schooled in the Mike Ashley school of dirty tricks remember! Piss off the fans, the players, resulting in rubbish results, possible relegation, and then hey presto THE SACK, more money for being incompetent, he couldn’t make it up. I wonder if TV pundits will be calling the WBA fans delusional, and ungrateful, because Bruce’s doing a great job ye known, couldn’t make it up. Just si glad we got rid!
Football is strange, A manager can make Millions, despite being absolutley useless, incompitent. Being sacked from teams for decades. In most other workplaces a c.v of being sacked for poor performace from every company you have worked for decades. Would not make you look like the candidate to take a company forward.
It goes to show either how many bad owners there are or how few decent managers are available if a dinosaur like CabbageHeed can command a job at a club like ours or a decent club in the Fizzy such as West Brom.
I don’t understand why they give managers a 5 yr contract in the first place, and I know they have agents advising them, and if they don’t get what they want they won’t take the job, so what, piss off, find someone else. If ALL clubs got together and decided that a rolling contract was the way forward, managers wouldn’t have any choice but accept it.
