    Good article on Howe.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61247954

As it says, we're benefitting from the work Howe did whilst he wasn't in work. We've got a legend in the making.

Aye, good read. I like the last line especially:

The foundations at Newcastle have never looked so solid.

Yes, that struck me as well.

How long have we been a basket-case of a club???

Just being a well-run club is almost impossibly difficult to grasp after the Ashley era-the sort of things fans of other clubs take for granted., such as a decent training ground, proper coaching...clean fucking windows, man!!......so that the idea that, from these new foundations, a club that actually behaves like a proper club is going to emerge, is something that still doesn't feel real.

    Really good article.

Is this the beginning of the turn around, as media etc. start to suck up to us, in the same way it happens to City.

We're not going down and now they want to be on our good side because they know what is coming.

We have come a long way from Penfold telling us "No player has ever decided not to join a club because of their training facilities"
To "The best players need the best training facilities"
