    People wanting Derbies

I have enjoyed derbies as much as anyone but we should not look to the past but the future.

If you want the Toon to compete for trophies we have to be ambitious and make Liverpool,Man City, and in the future Barca etc.to be our main rivals

Rudd Gullet upset a lot of our fans when he said the Toon v Sunderland was only a local provincial game.I think I got what he meant,we should be looking higher than just winning against our local rivals, although he was a crap man manager he had won major trophies as a player and expected other players to want the same.

I'd be happy enough if they stayed in League One and we never played them again.

I wouldn't mind if our local derby remained to be with Leeds forevermore.

That is until the Heed leapfrog the Muckem and beat them back into the Prem.

    This.
I would far rather win the league cup than thrash those no hopers.
They’re irrelevant now and only serve to give some light amusement due to their obsession with Newcastle.
