    Dismal, pathetic, obvious!

    Tokenism at it's worst.

The transition is complete. It's more about the writer than the actor

Forgive my ignorance, but what is this concerning? I'm assuming it's something connected with the TV programme 'Dr. Who.'

Tbh never heard of Ncuti Gatwa although he apparently got good reviews in "*** Education" (not that I've ever seen it). The "Doctor" though can rejuvenate as anyone so don't really care if they are male/female/gay/bi/older/younger/have a disability or are White, Black, Brown, Yellow or Red. Just as long as they can act and bring something to the part. Of course it smacks of wokeism/tokenism - but that will surely only matter if he is c rap in the role.

If the character could rejuvenate as anyone, did we expect to have 50 years of white bloke? (Except the one ‘token’ women)

An interesting arrangement in those letters of his first name.

Not the arrangement I’d have used for four of them!

Not quite sure why you are stressing Mick
Is it because he’s black or gay (not sure he is but I know he played a gay guy in s e x education)

He seems to have a decent grounding as an actor has quite a few accolades so why shouldn’t he play Dr Who?

Don’t understand the level of vitriol coming at him from you or the media,
Calling him a cnut because of his African spelling bit much (and childish) mate

I’d rather someone got a job they were trained in rather than paid millions for getting their tits out like Jordan or all these other women who are always in the media
Imagine what the press would say of them if they were black
