Seems like there could be an auction going on to see who's bidding to pay the highest wage for Tony Watt on loan & the highest bid is going to be short of his full wage.
Not a great place to be if true.
So say he's on £4k with us, St Mirren are willing to pay just £2.5k then he goes & scores against us whilst we're still paying £1.5k of his wages.
If he's leaving, then it should only be to clubs out with our league
as the boat says, lf he's allowed to go to a another relegation rival then TA needs to go, you do not strengthen rivals unless its the likes of tims and they're paying into the millions and yer chairman is a cock
Watt off to St. Mirren on loan.
Done deal according to The Sun
Exclusive by Robert Grieve
TONY WATT is on his way to St Mirren.
The Paisley club have struck a deal to sign the striker from Dundee United until the end of the season.
The former Celtic and Hearts star has been up for grabs after being told he could leave Tannadice on loan.
Watt, 29, was wanted by Motherwell and Belgium outfit KV Oostende.
But he worked with Saints boss Stephen Robinson and CEO Keith Lasley during his spell at Fir Park earlier in his career.
And they have managed to lure him to Paisley.
The deal was hanging in the balance until Ethan Erhahon formally completed his £300,000 move to Lincoln.
But that transfer has gone through Watt set to be paraded this afternoon.
TBH better he goes there than Motherwell. Lets face it St Mirren aren't the team we need to worry about till the end of the season.

Not a single person at our club has any idea how frustrating it is to be a supporter during these transfer windows. Our recruitment policy of "previous international experience" must surely be massively limiting our choices. Absolutely incredible that we have not strengthened with several signings by now. The club is really starting to piss me off. Why are we selling Watt? Why are we even considering selling him to a rival? Utter madness.
Its not over yet granted but it looks like we will come out of the window £3,000,000 stronger financially but weaker on the park than all our relegation rivals. What an FN basket case of a club we are.
