How about Warnock as HC for a year with Duff as his assistant, learning all he can under Warnocks tutelage . Then taking over as HC himself the following season. It won’t happen but would be interesting.

Not sure that Duff who has proved himself in this division & is currently employed as a manager in this division would want to go as number 2 , he is own man & has so far done pretty well , I think if he does not get our gig other opportunities will present themselves in the near future & maybe at a division higher .

It's coming to summat when we are supposedly considering Duff as a saviour , I personally like what he has achieved so far in his career , I wish him well wherever he ends up , would like him here but surely with respect ! We should be looking for someone with the guile/knowhow experience to make a quick return to 2nd tier .
