Disappointed by that as would of liked to see what Lewis could of done fully fit, but wish him all the best, hope it doesn't bite us on the bum later in season. Still think we now need a third striker in.
Makes sense I guess? Knight is one of those I really wanted to see play, or given a chance but it’s just been a torrid time for him…I hope he gets back on track soon.
So, our forward options are…
Langstaff
Scott
Rodrigues
Roberts
Does anyone know how the new HC sets up his sides?
Sensible decision after today's incoming forward.
Very unfortunate with injury wish him expect when he plays against us.
I feel sorry for Lewis Knight. Injury really disrupted his time at Notts and prevented him showing what he might be capable of. Normally I'd be quite miffed about releasing a young player without him really ever having had a proper opportunity, but I assume in this case it was a case of having to move someone out before bringing Cedwyn Scott in. Hopefully it will prove to be the right career move for both players over time. Lewis didn't do anything wrong, he just couldn't seem to get a break.
