    Drew Busby

RIP - former Queens man Drew Busby who has passed away age 74. The big striker made 53 appearances scoring 11 times between August 1982 and April 1984. He is in the Scottish record books as the scorer of Third Lanark's last ever goal and, of course, was a legend at Heart of Midlothian.

Drew busby was one of the nicest guys that have graced the qos shirt. Absolute gentleman that had the respect of all who played for him.
I’m sure he was the manager that gave one of our best strikers in Rowan Alexander his debut, but I might be wrong in that. He was certainly the manager when Rowan was in his prime years at palmy before his move. Can anyone tell me differently?

Alexander made his debut on 2nd May 1979. Willie Hunter was the manager when he signed followed by Dumfries - born Billy Little so one of these two gave him his debut

It’s been a sad few weeks with the losses of David Wilson , Drew Busby & Andy Goram.
