0-2 Keeper looked alright first half but was poor second. Some sloppy passages of play with a poor final ball being our main downfall. For the limited chances that we did have...we ain't clonical at all and seem to lack confidence. A kot of pressure will be on Fletchers shoulders this season. if we don't pick up another striker. We are clearly still missing soame pieces to this jigsaw! Not all doom and gloom..the young lads looked decent!

Cudjoe looked lively when he came on
    Edwards steady as usual
Mulgrew want to have a word with himself, whole performance was below what's required.
Two shots on goal from Meekison

Otherwise it was a bit of a disjointed mess.
Need Levitt and Fletcher in and I'm sure we'll improve.

I know it's our first proper pre-season game but we look miles off the pace and with two weeks to go until not only our first league game but european ties as well, It was slightly concerning to see how lacking in sharpness we were. Of course this will come but we just seem to be 2/3 weeks behind where we should be, this expected performance/game is what should have happened long before now, not 2 weeks before the season starts.

Hopefully it has helped clarify a few things for Ross. With Levitt and Fletcher not involved today, we looked awfully short in reliable quality. Plenty of young lads involved with a few impressing but definitely still needing a few more in.

P.s don't think the goalkeeper (or Mulgrew for that matter) done themselves any favours today sadly.

First the positives, Edwards, Graham and Watt have not changed since last season, Meekison should be given a chance this season, we have 2 good right backs with one that didnt look out of place in midfield, and a good left back and Sibbald did not disappoint at all!

Although he did some good things, i cannot ignore the keepers role in both goals where he punched the ball right onto the guys head, then out his box for the OG, although Charlie has to take the blame for not looking before the pass back!

There was some really nice football on show, and i thought we were holding our own with their goal against the run of play after a good start to the second half.

We should not be playing pass-backs to the keeper from the opposition's half.

Okay, it wasn't from the opposition's half. But it was still a ****e decision.

If you pass the ball back without looking you should never put it between the sticks. Everyone knows that right? 🤔

Good to hear there were positives, expected a defeat as do feel we are behind in preparation overall for obvious reasons, the main thing is we see progression next week from today

Unfortunately seems like the goalie isn't good enough to be first choice and sooner the new one arrives the better as wouldn't feel confident going into the league or euro tie with this guy
