From a soldier of the highest order,
who once served on Putin's western border,
a Pig commander in West Belfast,

In the year of our lord nine**** eighty three,
they finally let the gallant Forty Twa free,
waiting on the plane from Belfast back to Germany,
it was Saturday April twenty three.

United v Killie due to be played,
but luckily our flight delayed,
before we boarded the halftime score,
was Killie nil United four.

They are the things that i remember,
sitting in Tannadice on a cold December,
always moaning about my lot,
and to others not giving a jot.

But some of your posts i read have resonated,
sometimes off the pitch matters leave you frustrated,
an Arab not bettered in this land,
and i am proud to have shook your hand.

No for the first time you predicted my story,
my protest would end and i would go for glory,
the early Albatross,Eagles and birdies are at an end,
and tonight five hundred the Boat had to spend.
