Roly,it's time the chairman told us what is really happening. That latest interview from Warney gave us the impression that he is getting no where we near the support he needs from the board.

There are three problems here, roly, and they are connected. The big problem - the one that informs the others - is that the club management know that we cannot sustain Championship level football without risking the financial health of the club. But this reality cannot be communicated to fans so instead we have fatuous statements about "exciting times". It's nonsense. The club is already preparing for a return to L1.
The second problem is that we cannot attract or afford the kind of players needed to stay in the Championship. We therefore have to rely on players with something to prove, take a chance on younger, untried players or sign journeymen approaching the end of their careers.
Unfortunately, this leads on to problem 3. Warne, in order to make a show with material not up to the job, decides that fitness and energy can make up for a lack of talent. But. But. The older players we sign or the players we bring in from less competitive environments, cannot handle the training regime required and so we go into yet another season with several players crocked.
