    Mixed feelings on that...in his 30s and hardly Mr Reliable. On the other hand, he's single-handedly carried the attack for months, it's hard to be too critical.

    Unless there is an unbelievable new signing (eg Mr C Ronaldo or equivalent), he will be our key player this season, as long as he is fit (not a given). So, can only be good news for now. What about a couple of goals tomorrow night to celebrate!

    Will be our main striker unless someone else is signed. My main concern is not his fitness but the totally stupid bookings he picks up which leads to avoidable suspensions. Can already see him being booked/sent off on Sunday when he faces up to Gallagher

    Reliably informed he misses training a cuppla times a week and is on Cortisone injections for a back problem. I reckon if he plays 1 in 2 games all season that's over-optimistic. Wonder if his deal is structured on goals scored and appearances ?
