Have been dipping into a few bits of this over the last week or so. Entertaining if not always top drawer. Until today that is when I chanced upon the Commonwealth Games video gaming medal matches. WTF? "Sport is just the beginning" my arse. Ludicrous.

Agreed...not about you soon being dead of course ()...if they want an esports competition that’s fine...but let’s never describe participants in such activities as ‘athletes’. All in favour of some of the more modern athletic activities being included, but esports? Not for me...at least you had to reach and stretch a bit playing Subbuteo.
