Livi and St Mirren at home would be nice to see if we can get going. 😭

Time to get a grip and re-focus ambitions for the season.
We've simply got to aim for no lower than 10th now.
At the moment (given goal difference) we are just 3 points off that target.
This is recoverable - but need to see an upturn soon and not let that gap grow.

The saving grace is it is early in the season, and as crazy as it sounds when you look at those scorelines, it's not beyond turning round, albeit we will be scaling down our ambitions for this season, but if the club/manger/players don't address the glaring to everyone else it seems problems asp we are looking at 3-4 defeats every game, it's that bad at the moment we aren't even thinking about our complete lack of creativity/goals despite seemingly having better players in that department this year.

Erikson certainly looking like a No 1 today

If only we had had him in place earlier - the slide might not have happened so quickly and we might have more points

Maybe the fact he has been in around the squad for a while longer than the Twitteroo will help him gel with the squad with more game time.

Siegrist was colossal for us, he turned it on in some big games and this whole confidence and trust thing feeding through defence midfield can't be underestimated. Siegrist looking back got us some key results against his would be employers frequently(great performances against old firm).

Ross was a late appointment, many of our signings were late with lengthy work permit issues etc, the team is only now showing some slight recovery signs of gelling. Alkmaar at home was an anomaly because the players have never had that kind of backing before, it was clear to see. The dutch maybe didnt expect the power of the crowd either and wouldnt be surprised if this was a reason they held back away ticket allocation given there average attendance 4k short of their capacity. Any game after that would be a come down and clearly was for our players.

I think we'll kick on now as long as we don't get destroyed by Scotlands youngest club.

A mixed bag from the keeper on Saturday. He bottled a one on one with Van Veen, got himself confused and it could have led to a goal. He also fumbled a routine catch, luckily got away with it. In between he made some decent if routine saves and also saved the pen which hopefully will have boosted his confidence. Let's see what the next 2/3 games bring.

Agree totally. Was very hesitant first 15 mins. Could have cost a goal or pen. With the Van Veen incident. Punched a cross to the penalty spot and a Well player. Very fortunate the defence was quick to block shot. Had a few good saves too though even though most of them were routine. Second half he fumbled a routine save and was fortunate ref(very poor performance) gave a free kick.
Would say that the jury is still very much out though the penalty save will have given him confidence.

Yes will see what the next few games bring, baby steps in changing my opinion, but credit where is due, pen save etc and two away games we lost 1 goal

After losing countless goals the few games prior, if we continue this into the Hibs game then it will really give confidence we are back on track and can start to worry lessas ultimately we'll get out of danger if so

Think I'm the only person who thinks Birighitti is the better option. Eriksson just looks so shaky. Clearly a good shot stopper, but his decison making and positioning at times is schoolboy bad. What was he actually doing in the one v one with VV??

I think Birighitti is too, but I only seen him against Killie and AZ (h), back of my mind I still expect him to cost us a goal or two in the coming games.. that can demoralise a team, hope these two games have upped confidence in himself and from his teammates in him and vice versa
