    St Mirren at Home 20/8

We go into this weekends game battered and bruised, but we also have time to lick those wounds, recover and prepare for what may be a must win to get confidence back into the team.

As for a team, Levitt ive heard is a doubt and there are maybe a few who should be dropped, and others drop kicked! However, my thinking is that some of our problems stem from units within the team not getting a chance to breath, never mind gel, and the only way to sort that is coaching and playing them together.

    Im going

    Birigitti
    Edwards, Mulgrew, Graham,
    Freeman, Smith, Sibbald, McGrath, Behich
    Fletcher, Clark

All evidence says JR favours 4 at the back, always.

I would think Charlie is setting out the team he would like to see, not the team that JR will play

Can't see why he'd change. It's obviously working. Only 13 goals against in 4 games.

I agree with all of the things said in response to me there but I just can't see him making that change.

I know that and had a back 4 of Smith, Edwards, Graham, Behich, but then i considered that Levitt might be out and Harkes is Harkes!

Thought these threads were a crossover between what we would like to see and what the manager will actually do. What would you do?

Actually I agree with you. If it were up to me I'd play a back 3. It's hard to see that happening though.

    Birigitti
    Freeman, Edwards, Mulgrew, Behich
    McGrath, Smith, Harkes, Sibbald
    Cudjoe
    Fletcher

I have Harkes in even though I thought Sunday was the worst I'd seen him play for years as it an are of the pitch we are very short in.

    Birighitti
    Edwards Mulgrew Graham
    Freeman McGrath Levitt Sibbald Behich
    Cudjoe Fletcher

Happy with that but it sounds like Levitt will miss out. Either way we need an angry powerful performance, goals, and a wee bit of the feelgood factor back. The fans deserve it.

Id play this but change the keeper. You can't keep him in the goal after 3 games in a row where hes conceded where a decent keeper wouldn't have.
