It is reported from various sources £15 million was paid back on the "Cash to Buy" loan and the media sharks have swam off to find juicer pickings and look for clubs who are in real bother such as Manchester United.

Stop worrying, Pace knows what he is doing, Kompany would not be here otherwise.
You could have saved yourself all the above waffle mon ami, just by saying 'I don't know'.

I don't know just how we stand now either, what I do know is that if you peruse the last BFC Annual Financial Statement, the debt it mentions is way in excess of £60 million. That figure was just what was estimated to become due in the event of relegation. What it also said was that full repayment was due by December 2025, just over three years away. The clock is ticking mon ami, of course the time scale could be renegotiated, which would also incur additional interest charges on the club, we'll have to wait and see, but anyone who thinks we're now debt free and out of the financial woods is living in a fool's paradise.

I think we have just bought some time Sinkov whilst getting shut of the big earners. The plan seems from messages coming from VK and Pace that we need to get promoted to really be in the clear and I cannot see that happening unless we get a striker or somebody who knows how to score.

To be fair CiB, Mr Pace did say we could cope with being relegated, but it would entail a fire-sale of players, which is exactly what has happened. He also said he expected it would take some time for us to get back into the PL, so again being fair, right as it stands now everything is going to plan, nothing is happening, or has happened, that wasn't predicted and planned for.

Should we slip further down the league below 15th though, and I think alarm bells might start ringing.
