Notts return to Meadow Lane for what many will see as a top-of-the-table, local-ish derby, 'Clash of the Titans, despite us only being in August and having only three matches behind us so far this season.
Luke Williams appears to be having a hard time finding the right shape and starting eleven so far, although we of course remain unbeaten so far. With Frank Vincent having joined Aldershot on a month's loan, Mr. Williams will have one less midfield option to consider this afternoon.
Today's attendance, although expected to be a good one, will no doubt be somewhat reduced by the arrival of the BT Sport cameras, not to mention a train strike making it difficult for the visiting fans to get home after the match.
Following our away point in Gateshead on Tuesday, there are some minor rumblings of discontent in certain quarters already, remarkable as it might seem, so I'm sure we're all hoping today's performance can calm those down, if not put them to bed completely.
The commentary can be accessed in the usual ways for those unable to attend or watch on the gogglebox. You can find the BBC Radio Nottingham Forest commentary here.
Team news is expected shortly.

No Francis then?5_2_1_2?
Glad we're playing an extra forward, that's four attack minded players on the pitch.
I think we need a couple of signings as that's pretty much the whole first team squad on the team and bench with TAR out of favour and Rawlinson injured.
Would still like to see Francis on the pitch
Well what a start that is...
On yer bike Williams your no better than last 2 muppets
Watching on BT.
Well taken goal after their player on the right did very well to get the ball into the box.
Warnock in the crowd.
Is it Charlie and Stall on RN?
