Garnacho v Whelan is looking a bit of a mismatch so far.

    Jack Ellis looking good though.

We badly need money but we are now out of the League Cup and up against it in trying to qualify for the next stage of the EFL Trophy.

Good attendance tonight though. That will help a little.

Garnacho just been brought on as a substitute for the first team against Real Sociedad.

Let's see how their defenders compare to Whelan!

In hindsight (he definitely looks a bit useful) it was a bit sneaky of Manchester United playing Garnacho against us.

Last minute winner today for Alejandro Garnacho against Fulham after scoring the winner at Real Sociedad last week.

Once again apologies to Corey Whelan. At the time I posted I hadn't heard of Garnacho.

It now looks as if he may be a bit special.

I remember seeing Peter Beardsley's first appearance for us in the Reserves.

He did something similar to opposition defences. Made them look second rate even if they weren't that bad.

He continued to do that throughout his career. Shame he was sold too quickly and for not enough money.

    Nothing changes at Brunton Park.
