    Townsend

I only managed to catch bits of commentary via WM radio. Apparently he performed well at CH and received specific commendation from Tony Brown, specifically mentioning the quality of the Norwich strikers. Did anyone watch the match and be able to comment ?

Great to hear that from Bomber and hopefully Conor will work hard at maintaining that performance as CH.

Concerning to hear that Bartley wasn’t there because of a strained hamstring…surely that’s just baloney to appease him ?

As an aside, Brown also mentioned Livermore as a MOTM candidate.

Townsend played really well. Jake was very good in a low risk kind of way ie pump it forward rather than muck around with tippy tappy stuff. Grady tracked back really well and at times ran their RB ragged. Furlong looked assured. Molumby did OK. We played conservatively, so after the goal BTA pressed really well and forced several misplaced passes from which we should have done better.

Just got back, and agree with everything you say the only player you haven't mentioned was Peters who also played well in a solid defensive display, again it was a little frustrating because Norwich weren't that good but we don't seem to be getting any luck at all particularly with poor officials.
