I think she is just on remand awaiting sentence,,,,,,,,,bail denied (possibly for her own safety). Could be 18 months porridge I seem to remember reading, so probably one week suspended!

Oh...right. Missed it, never heard of her. Why would anyone do that...or is this a belated April fool? What’s it got to do with KS anyway?

Both were running for charity? Both are national icons?

Attention seeking - her cause was something to do with banning private jets, so nothing to do with "gallant Tom"

Good to see Lebanon doing the business over the weekend, but what has the BBC Sport budget fallen to. I heard (or hopefully misheard) that we can look forward to prime time coverage of women's wheelchair rugby league soon. How is that going to win the rating wars?? Minority sport cubed... Perhaps an audience of 25 including those that fell asleep in front of the telly....

You can bet if BBC have rights they will be pushing it like mad, be interesting to see what they say about in-stadium attendences as they've been telling porkies all the way through the Women's RU World Cup

Tbf the aim of ‘mainstreaming’ disabled sport is surely a noble one. Like you I doubt it’ll work and I’m as ‘guilty’ as anyone ...don’t even watch the Paralympics...but I do admire, as I’m sure you do, those who continue to participate despite suffering life changing adversity.
The ‘buzz word’ of this World Cup, which the BBC has exclusive rights to, is ‘inclusivity’. As I’ve said, I doubt it’ll make much difference, but it is a laudable aim imo.

Like you I do not watch paralympics or equivalent in other sports, I find it vaguely uneasy viewing - a bit like watching F1 in expectation if a big crash. Perhaps a sense of schadenfreude. Noble sentiments of inclusivity but I don't think viewers respond well "didnt she do well for a ....." seems the sentiment Ive mostly seen when others comment, and overall rather patronising.
