rA suggests we looked like also rans, well in horse racing terms we are demonstrating that recent circumstances have left us without a jockey and a lame horse! But, as I keep reiterating we are still here and redevelopment of the club is, IMO, the priority not promo. It's noticeable that previously established 1st and 2nd tier clubs like Ipswich, Sunderland and Sheff Wed have found escape from this league a bit of a grind so our situation with EFL restrictions is an additional yoke around our necks. Footie fans have short memories and are an impatient lot but the reality is that performances like this one are probably inevitable.
Very fair that, mac. Agreeing about everything from the tackle on Smith to remembering our ‘priorities’.
We are a ‘work in progress’. I was just disappointed last night that any recent progress seemed to have seriously stalled, but I suppose that is how it is going to be until Warne can bring some of his own in.
Hopefully one of the first signings - to get out of this League - will be someone in the mould of Ipswich’s Sam Morsy...not a player I’d heard of before, but an uncompromising defensive midfielder who seemed prepared to lead by battling performance and letting those around him know what was expected of them.

Anyone know how bad Curtis’ injury is?

We seem to be unduly pessimistic on here, when we held and nearly got a draw out of a club that's at the top of the league and has had a couple of years to consolidate and gear up for promotion from this league. It was always going to be a difficult game and yes we didn't show much in attack, but then neither did they in all honesty.

I'm more than happy with how we are going, especially from where we started from, going toe to toe with Ipswich and nearly nicking a point is encouraging in my book.

A good assessment. Though I'm happier moaning about losing to Ipswich than I was moaning about Morris and the EFL
