You could say Gerrard was unlucky with his big 3 signings being injured! We all knew we needed a top Striker, with that and no injuries, it could be different. I want Potch but think Dyche is what is required, team needs some backbone and someone who can get into the players faces!

Me, i wouldnt mind a go!!! Joking aside we have to realise just how poor some of our players have been through two managerial terms, not giving Gerrard much sympathy, but the recruitment was suspect long before he got involved, personally would like to see a complete cleanout of the upper level management team, bring in/back Villa people to the team level and appoint proper PLC level upper management, they dont need to know about football, just business and how to continue to make money, let the football/villa people worry about who and how to get the teams right. My guess is we will have a short term plan manager wise to keep us up, making the prospect more enticing for a higher level leader next season, not saying thats the right way but I think its how Purslow will aim to keep his job, shiny suited w**nker.

I seriously think the players have been let down by the coaching. Gerrard ball was never going to work. We have the players, we just need a decent manager/coach. I'd take Dyche at a push but think dick emery is a better fit.
