I may have imagined it but he looked so much better playing for them against France than he usually does playing for us. His role was slightly different (more a wing back than a right back) but he seemed to play in a much more positive way and didn't just pass backwards for 90 (or in the case of the new 'added time' World Cup 134) mins.
